Roster set for 2021 American Family Insurance High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships

The 2021 American Family Insurance High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships roster has been announced, featuring 24 of the nation’s premier high school athletes. The 10th annual event will be held on Tuesday and Franklin Central High School in Indianapolis. CBS will air the event in its entirety at 1:30 p.m. ET on April 4.

“Congratulations to these outstanding players who have made it to the 2021 American Family Insurance High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships,” said Judd Schemmel, American Family Insurance associate vice president, community investment and partnerships. “At American Family we’re inspired by those who have the courage to dream fearlessly and the determination to reach their goals. Best of luck to all the talented student athletes who are participating.”

The players will compete in a number of different events during the competition, including the American Family Insurance Slam Dunk Championship, the American Family Insurance Boys’ 3-Point Championship, American Family Insurance Girls’ 3-Point Championship, and the IHOP Team Shootout. The winners of the Boys’ and Girls’ 3-point competitions will square off in the Rocket Mortgage Battle of the Champions.

The slam dunk and boys’ 3-point events include 12 athletes inside the top 100 in the 247Sports Composite Index, while the girls’ 3-point competition boasts seven shooters within the espnW HoopGurlz Top 40 rankings. Also participating in the event are the winners of this year’s American Family Insurance #DreamFearlessly Fan Vote, Ridge Harrison (slam dunk), Cal Reghi (boys’ 3-point) and Aliyah Williams (girls’ 3-point).

Donation to Special Olympics part of this year's event

American Family Insurance is committed to inspiring, protecting and restoring dreams. During this year’s event, a $20,000 check will be presented to the Special Olympics Indiana chapter in support of their athletes as they pursue and achieve their dreams of competing in sports.
