Little Big Town to headline Breese Stevens concert during 2020 American Family Insurance Championship tournament week

Multiple-award-winning supergroup and Grand Ole Opry members Little Big Town will take the stage to perform hits from their storied 20-plus-year country music career, as the concert headliner at Madison’s Breese Stevens field on Friday, June 5. The event will help kick-off weekend play of the PGA TOUR Champions American Family Insurance Championship and raise money for various charities.

Tickets for the event will go on sale on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 10 a.m. central standard time. Opening acts will be announced at a later date.

“The Friday evening concert has become a popular start to tournament weekend, provides music and golf fans alike a fantastic, high-energy show, and builds awareness of the American Family Insurance Championship,” said Nate Pokrass, tournament director. “We’re looking forward to welcoming Little Big Town to Madison and raising money to support American Family Children’s Hospital and many other local charities.”

Proceeds from the concert and championship are donated to the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation for distribution to American Family Children’s Hospital and other charities impacting families and children. Proceed totals from the 2019 event of $2.4 million were announced at an event at American Family’s national headquarters on Nov. 13. In just its first four years, the championship has raised more than $7.1 million for distribution to 280 charitable organizations.

American Family Insurance, the PGA TOUR Champions and Wisconsin native Steve Stricker launched this professional golf tournament in June 2016. The American Family Insurance Championship, held annually at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wis., features a 78-player field. Past champions include Jerry Kelly (2019), Scott McCarron (2018), Fred Couples (2017) and Kirk Triplett (2016).
