As Vice President of Talent and Inclusion, Crystal is accountable for Inclusive Excellence and Talent Acquisition at American Family Insurance Group. Crystal has more than 14 years of experience in “People Centered” roles that span Fortune 100 companies and start-up ventures. She’s leveraged her ability to translate insights into action, business orientation and passion for people to develop large-scale growth strategies and lead efforts to create company cultures focused on harnessing the power of purpose, innovation and inclusion. Each role in her career created opportunities to learn something new, solve challenging business problems, and help teams create value in new and different ways.
Crystal joined American Family Insurance Group in 2021 to lead the Enterprise Marketing Solutions Team. Prior to American Family, she led Personal Lines Marketing at Nationwide Insurance, was Brand Manager at Scotts Miracle Grow and spent time in Claims at Progressive Insurance. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business and Applied Economics and MBA in Marketing and Strategy from The Ohio State University.
In her current role, Crystal is responsible for leading efforts to strengthen the company’s position in the talent market and shape the employee experience by creating a more inclusive environment for all.
