Badgers host ribbon cutting ceremony for American Family Insurance Gate at Camp Randall Stadium

Madison, Wis. (Sept. 11, 2015) – The University of Wisconsin – Madison Athletics Department hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday, Sept. 11, to celebrate the official opening of the American Family Insurance Gate (Gate No. 1) on the southeast side of Camp Randall Stadium.

This gate is part of the recently announced expanded partnership between UW-Madison and American Family Insurance that includes the exclusive status as the “Official Insurance Sponsor of UW Athletics,” over the next 10 years.

UW-Madison Athletic Director Barry Alvarez was present at the ribbon-cutting, along with Bruce Van De Velde, senior associate athletic director and Dan Kelly, chief financial officer at American Family Insurance.
