American Family Insurance offers new Parking Lot Patio at American Family Field, home of the Milwaukee Brewers

What do you get when you combine “America’s pastime” with American Family?

A hot-off-the-grill fan experience that combines the tailgating environment with a family-friendly pre-game experience: the new American Family Insurance Parking Lot Patio at American Family Field, home of the Milwaukee Brewers™.

The Parking Lot Patio was developed to create a fan experience outside of American Family Field where families and game attendees can take part in Milwaukee Brewers’ traditions, including a grill-themed temporary tattoo station, custom gameday hats, tailgate games and lounge area.

The patio opened for the first time in early August and was a home run for fans who came from near and far.

The newest photo opportunity experience exists outside the stadium, centered under the marquee American Family Field sign. The new physical structure, stating “I (g)love MKE," commemorates Milwaukee and the Brewers game-day experience in a fun way that's Instagram-worthy and memorable.

What fans are saying

Ben, a fan from Pardeeville, Wisconsin, attended the game with his family to celebrate his wedding anniversary.

“This is a great experience for my entire family,” said Ben. “And it makes me want to go to a summertime cookout!”

Bonita, a Brewers fan from Austin, Texas, brought her family to the Brewers game to give them a taste of her husband’s childhood in Wisconsin.

 “The parking lot patio has a cute setup that’s perfect for families,” she said.

“Our partnership with the Brewers allows us to make meaningful connections with fans through a popular pastime they love, and our new Parking Lot Patio and branded photo opportunity provide new ways to engage fans and create memorable moments for all that will last long after the game ends,” said Maureen Headrick, American Family sponsorships and events director.

Location and hours

The Parking Lot Patio is located outside the stadium on the third base side, near Clock Tower gates. It's open three hours before game time to one hour after game. All activities are free and anyone is welcome to visit the Parking Lot Patio. It will stay open the remainder of the season.
