American Family Insurance Group companies announce raise in minimum pay to $25 per hour in 2025

American Family Insurance Group announced today it is raising its minimum hourly wage to $25 per hour – its third increase since 2020 – to draw and retain talent to best serve its customers.  The wage increase will take effect in January 2025.

The $25 per hour minimum-wage increase will impact employees in a variety of roles, including customer-facing positions in call centers, claims and other areas. 

This is the third time since 2020 that American Family group has raised its minimum wage. In January 2020, the group announced a raise in minimum pay to $20 per hour and in February 2022, to $23 per hour.

“Raising the minimum wage again for our employees demonstrates our commitment to paying a livable wage,” said Stauffacher.

Comprehensive benefits package adds even more value for employees

Further strengthening investments in its employees, in 2025 American Family is increasing time off for parental paid leave. Birthing mothers will now receive 16 weeks of paid leave and parental leave will increase from four to eight weeks for all parents, including adoptive and foster parents.
