American Family Insurance features brand ambassador Kathy Ireland during Women’s History Month

Summary

Ms. Ireland is extending her partnership with the brand.

As we enter March, Women’s History Month, American Family Insurance is celebrating all women who dream fearlessly, including brand ambassador, Kathy Ireland.

“Our brand ambassador relationship with Ms. Ireland has been an inspiring partnership. We feel she is a great example of a true dreamer who not only fulfills her own dreams but also those of others,” said Sherina Smith, marketing vice president at American Family Insurance.

Kathy Ireland launched American Family Insurance’s Brand Ambassador program 10 years ago. The two brands tie well together when it comes to the idea of “home”. Consumers turn to kathy ireland® Worldwide (kiWW®) to help create their dream home and American Family Insurance to protect it.

“For many, home is now a workspace, daycare and classroom,” said Sherina Smith, marketing vice president at American Family Insurance. “That’s why we’re excited to continue our tenured brand ambassador relationship with Kathy Ireland, who helps inspire our customers to create the dream homes we protect.”

Women’s History Month highlight

As a successful woman entrepreneur, Kathy Ireland will also be the focus of social media campaign for Women’s History Month in March. Through a series of videos and social media posts, Ms. Ireland will highlight her success as an entrepreneur. She’ll share how she persevered to pursue her dreams fearlessly despite the challenges and naysayers, and how others can do the same.

Beyond being a role model for women, Ms. Ireland’s values align with the values of American Family Insurance in helping inspire, build and protect the dreams of all Americans, including philanthropic efforts that serve the community. In 2019, Ms. Ireland joined the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation as its International Youth Chair.

A supermodel turned super entrepreneur, Ms. Ireland continues to build upon her own dreams, serving as Chair, CEO and Chief Designer of kathy ireland® Worldwide (kiWW®), a leading design and marketing conglomerate which includes real estate, fintech, entertainment and other companies.

“I know from experience that dreams can start anywhere,” said Ms. Ireland. “My dream of owning design brands started in my own home with a single pair of socks at my kitchen table. As Americans spend more time in their homes, their dreams are becoming realities at kitchen tables around the country. It’s more important than ever to protect those dreams and the homes they are built in.”
