American Family Insurance celebrates Pride month

Join us for free virtual events that celebrate and uplift the LGBTQ+ community

During June, we celebrate Pride month to recognize the impact LGBTQ+ individuals have had on society. The American Family Insurance DreamBank will host a variety of events that are virtual and free to the public to celebrate Pride month.

June is Pride Month

Pride month is the annual celebration to recognize the impact that LGBTQ+ individuals have had on history locally, nationally, and internationally. The celebration was initially recognized as “Gay Pride Day” which honored the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan, a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States. Today, the celebration consists of a month of various events to celebrate achievements and honor those who have been afflicted by hate crimes.

Events at American Family’s DreamBank

American Family’s DreamBank will be hosting several free and virtual events in celebration of Pride month featuring notable speakers and interactive events.

Join us for events that expand awareness, educate and foster an inclusive dialogue, including:
