American Family Insurance celebrates 95th anniversary on Oct. 3

It all started in 1927 with Herman Wittwer’s dream to build an insurance company.

Now, 95 years later, American Family Insurance is celebrating nearly a century of inspiring others to follow their dreams with the promise to protect them, no matter the circumstances.

As our world has changed, that promise has remained. It’s reflected in how we handle claims, care for customers and support each other.
