American Family teams assist customers in Colorado, company donates $10,000 for wildfire relief

Summary

American Family Insurance is responding to customers affected by wildfires in Colorado and donating $10,000 to aid disaster relief efforts there.

American Family’s claims team and agency owners are responding to help customers in Colorado, including in Grand and Larimer counties, where the East Troublesome and Cameron Peak fires have led to evacuations and property damage.

In addition, American Family Insurance and the American Family Insurance Dreams Foundation are donating $10,000 to aid disaster relief efforts as wildfires spread across the state, threatening homes and businesses.

“We’re here for our customers and the communities affected by these devastating fires,” said Amy Wragge, Colorado sales director with American Family Insurance. “Amidst all the uncertainty, we want to give our customers a little peace of mind.”

Half the funds will go to the Red Cross for Colorado Wildfire Relief and the other $5,000 will be given to the United Way of Larimer County, designated to the Cameron Peak Response Fund.

The Red Cross consistently shows up after disasters, providing broad support for those impacted.
