2019 Community of Dreamers donation recipients announced

Summary

For the third consecutive year, American Family Insurance and the American Family Insurance Dreams Foundation are awarding donations to non-profits across the country, nominated by customers.

In 2017, in honor of American Family's 90th anniversary, American Family Insurance and the American Family Insurance Dreams Foundation awarded 90 donations of $3,000 each to charitable organizations across the country nominated by customers, employees and agents. The donation program was named Community of Dreamers.

Customers nominate local non-profits

Because customers loved this program and the opportunity to nominate deserving non-profits of their choice in their local communities, the Community of Dreamers program returned in 2018, and again for a third consecutive year in 2019. Nominations were accepted from any American Family Insurance customer for a two-week period in September.

Today, American Family Insurance and American Family Insurance Dreams Foundation are pleased to announce the 100 different non-profit organizations across the country that will each receive a $2,500 Community of Dreamers donation.

"We received nearly 10,000 nominations from customers all across the country for this year’s program," said Maggie Pascaly, American Family Insurance community investment manager. "We admire the passion our customers have for the broad range of non-profits they nominated, and welcome the opportunity to invest in the important work these organizations are doing to make our communities better for all.”
