Volunteer registration open for 2022 American Family Insurance Championship

Volunteer registration for the sixth annual PGA TOUR Champions American Family Insurance Championship is open and the public is invited to sign-up to participate. Those interested can learn about volunteer opportunities by visiting this section of the championship website (www,amfamchampionship.com) and sign-up at the registration page.

The tournament and accompanying events will take place June 4-12, 2022 at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wisconsin. Steve Stricker continues as player/host for the event.

Each year more than 1,000 individuals representing 13 states volunteer at the championship. See more by watching this highlight video showcasing volunteers from past events.

For a $75 registration fee volunteers receive:

• Official tournament uniform: shirt, jacket and choice of unisex cap, visor or bucket hat
• Commemorative tournament lapel pin
• Tournament drawstring backpack
• Volunteer credential and lanyard (valid all week)
• Volunteer parking pass (valid all week)
• Additional guest general admission tickets valid any day
• Meal or box lunch provided each day worked

All proceeds from the championship are donated to the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation. Since its inaugural event in 2016, the American Family Insurance Championship has raised $10.2 million distributed to the American Family Children’s Hospital and more than 400 other non-profit organizations. Recipients of the proceeds from the 2021 championship will be announced on December 15.
