Advancing Diversity inductee understands the importance of credibly reaching diverse consumers
Sherina Smith, vice president of Marketing at American Family Insurance, will be inducted into the Advancing Diversity Hall of Honors this week, during the organization’s inaugural Advancing Diversity Week. Smith is one of 10 inductees, primarily in the media, marketing and advertising fields, chosen for their dedication to advancing diversity, from advocacy to activism.
Since joining American Family in 2019, Smith has built on the company’s strong commitment to multicultural marketing.

Late last year, the Association of National Advertisers awarded American Family Insurance and its multicultural agency Elite Media three prizes at the organization’s 20th Annual Multicultural Excellence Awards.
