Community Investment and Corporate Social Impact expert
Judd Schemmel is community investment and social impact leader at American Family. In this role, he oversees the company’s philanthropic and charitable work, including oversight of two foundations and the company’s matching gift, college scholarship, community grants and volunteer programs as well as partnerships to close equity gaps as part of the American Family Institute for Corporate and Social Impact. Judd's area also handles national sports marketing partnerships and is responsible for the American Family Insurance Championship PGA Tour Champions annual golf tournament in Madison, Wisconsin.
Judd joined American Family in 2013 as federal government affairs director. Previously, he was president of Edgewood High School in Madison. Judd also has experience working for a statewide education based trade organization. Judd earned both undergraduate and law degrees from Marquette University in Milwaukee.
