2017 celebrity foursome is announced today.

Two legends in their sports, Green Bay Packer great Brett Favre and New York Yankee star Derek Jeter, will play in the celebrity foursome at the PGA TOUR Champions American Family Insurance Championship. Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Darius Rucker and two-time U.S. Open champion Andy North will also play in the foursome.

The star-studded group will play in a 9-hole scramble on Saturday, June 24 at Madison’s University Ridge Golf Course. The foursome will tee off from the 10th hole at approximately 1:30 p.m., following the final tournament group for the day.

Favre and North played in last year’s celebrity grouping. Jeter, an American Family Insurance brand ambassador, and Rucker will be playing in the celebrity foursome for the first time. Rucker will precede his golf course appearance with a tournament concert Friday, June 23, at Madison’s Breese Stevens Field.

“We’re thrilled to have Brett, Derek, Darius and Andy. Fans are going to be treated to not only a fun day of friendly competition, but also some excellent golf,” said Nate Pokrass, tournament director. “In addition, all four gentlemen are deeply committed to giving back to the community, through their own foundation work and support of other charitable organizations. This will be a terrific event for all the fans, and will support a great cause.”

Dan Kelly, American Family Insurance chief financial officer and treasurer of the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation, officially announced the 2017 celebrity foursome today. “This group will offer tournament fans a chance to get up close with some of their favorite sports and music celebrities, but more importantly, raise funds to benefit the local community,” he said. Proceeds from the American Family Insurance Championship will be donated through the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation to the American Family Children’s Hospital and other charities.
