Green Bay Packers, American Family Insurance to host DreamDrive ribbon cutting ceremony

The ceremony will introduce new DreamDrive bike for training camp this year

Madison, Wis. (July 31, 2015) - The Green Bay Packers and American Family Insurance will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the official opening of the DreamDrive training camp bike experience on Friday, July 31, at 7:25 a.m.

The ceremony will unveil a new DreamDrive bike for kids to ride this year, and feature remarks from Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy and American Family Insurance CFO/Treasurer Daniel Kelly.

Also present at the ceremony will be Packers alumnus and American Family Insurance Brand Ambassador, Mark Tauscher, and Eric Vanden Heuvel, chief academic officer at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay. American Family Insurance and the Packers have teamed up with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay to allow kids who normally wouldn't be able to experience this tradition the opportunity to take part. Kids from the Boys & Girls Club will be riding the special bikes as DreamDrive kicks off its second year.

Laura Fischer, the winner of the Packers Ticket Takeover contest, and her son Declan, who was featured in the winning photo, also will be at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

DreamDrive is the specially designed bike event for Packers fans and families at training camp, centered on the storied training camp tradition where Packers players ride children's bikes to and from practice. Five special bikes, incorporating themes that celebrate Wisconsin's rich heritage, are provided. DreamDrive is located on the south side of the Oneida Nation Gate steps near the players' parking lot.
