American Family Insurance moves up 26 spots in Fortune 500 rankings
American Family Insurance has made a significant jump in the Fortune 500 rankings for this year.
American Family has moved to No. 332 on the Fortune 500 list, up 26 spots from No. 358 last year.
Fortune bases its rankings solely on total enterprise revenues, including earned premium, investment income, net capital realized gains and other income.
In total, Fortune 500 companies represent two-thirds of the U.S. GDP with $12 trillion in revenues, $840 billion in profits, $17 trillion in market value, and employ 27.9 million people worldwide.
American Family's improved ranking in 2015 is a result of the strong revenue growth experienced across all companies in the enterprise. Agents, employees, and the employees at American Family's operating companies are working together to effectively execute on the customer-driven strategies put in place.
