American Family Insurance Dreams Foundation recognizes six employees with first-ever Community Champion Award

The American Family Insurance Dreams Foundation exists to spark social impact – especially for its employees. American Family Insurance group employees have access to a suite of social impact programs including matching gift, volunteer incentives, volunteer time off and more.

To celebrate a Tuesday all about giving, the Dreams Foundation is amplifying the impact of six very special givers and announcing the first team of Community Champions.  

Award acknowledges employees who go above and beyond for social impact

The Community Champion Award is designed to recognize employees of the American Family Insurance group who are using their social impact program to make a big impact in their communities. Winners include passionate founders of nonprofits, dedicated mentors, passionate advocates and more.

Local honorary grants awarded

The Dreams Foundation honored one individual from each of the American Family Insurance group’s six operating companies. In recognition of the employee’s partnership, the Dreams Foundation has awarded an honorary grant of $5,000 in unrestricted general operating support to the local organizations they champion with their time and treasure in their own communities.

A total of $30,000 was invested in six local nonprofits to kick off their #GivingTuesday.
