Dreams Foundation donating $10,000 to American Red Cross for relief efforts

In the wake of Tuesday’s gas explosion in downtown Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, American Family Insurance is helping our customers and an agent affected by the tragedy.

“Our hearts go out to all of the families and friends of the firefighter who lost his life, as well as to those who were injured,” says Don Johnson, claims associate vice president.

American Family Insurance is already working with a small number of customers who have reported claims since the Tuesday night incident, when a contractor struck a natural gas main that result in a series of explosions and fire.

The American Family Insurance Dreams Foundation is making a $10,000 donation to the American Red Cross for the Sun Prairie relief efforts.

American Family Insurance agent Larry Cutler, whose office was closed due to severe damage from the blast, has temporarily relocated to the EastPark One building, at 4600 American Parkway in Madison.

“While our physical office is changing, our commitment and ability to serve all our customers is as strong as ever,” says Cutler.
