American Family donates to nonprofits in western U.S.
In honor of 90th anniversary, company is giving $3,000 to 90 charities
American Family Insurance announces the first 24 customer-, agent- and employee-nominated charities to receive $3,000 Community of Dreamers donations.
To celebrate its 90th anniversary next week, American Family Insurance is giving back to the communities that have supported it for decades by donating a total of $270,000 to nonprofit organizations.
The first 24 charities receiving the “Community of Dreamers” donations are in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington and were chosen from more than 17,000 organizations nominated by customers, agents and employees.

Over the next week, nonprofits in the central and eastern U.S. receiving $3,000 donations will be announced, including on Oct. 3, the company’s 90th anniversary.
