In honor of 90th anniversary, company is giving $3,000 to 90 charities

American Family Insurance announces 30 more customer-, agent- and employee-nominated charities to receive $3,000 Community of Dreamers donations.

To celebrate its 90^th anniversary next week, American Family Insurance is giving back to the communities that have supported it for decades by donating a total of $270,000 to nonprofit organizations.

The second group of charities receiving the “Community of Dreamers” donations are in Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. The 30 were chosen from more than 17,000 organizations nominated by customers, agents and employees.

The first 24 organizations, in the western U.S., were named Sept. 26.

Charities in the final group receiving $3,000 donations, located in the eastern U.S., will be announced on Oct. 3, the company’s 90^th anniversary.
